127 HOURS is the true story of the remarkable adventure of mountain climber Aron Ralston (James Franco) to save himself after a boulder has fallen and crushed his arm and blocking him in a secluded canal from Utah. Throughout his journey, Ralston remembers his friends, his lover (Clémence Poésy), his family and the two excursionists (Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) whom he met before the accident.
During the next 5 days, Ralston struggles with nature and his own demons to eventually discover that he has the courage and what is necessary to get rid of whatever method, to lower the wall 20 meters and walk over 13 kilometers before being finally saved.
