Director Uwe Boll made a somewhat original artistic endeavor. The film set is like a manifesto not to repeat the horrible crimes to humanity. The film begins by presenting an ordinary day in the Auschwitz concentration camp. Presentation of the facts is limited to the arrival of detainees, sorting them and gassing them. The film is devoid of heroes, but his pictures are very harsh realism overwhelming. In the second part of the film are played by young Germans discussions about what was happening in the concentration camps, their perception of the reasons and justifications that led to the killings.
