The action takes place in the southern United States, two years before the Civil War. Django (played by Jamie Foxx) is a slave whose past full of violence brings in the service of King Schultz (Christoph Waltz interpreted), a bounty hunter on the trail of two murderers found, Brittle brothers. Django is the only one who can help him reach them. Instead, Schultz promises to release him.
When their mission is successful and Django is released, he decides to stay with Schultz and continues to hunt together the most wanted criminals. But Django’s ultimate purpose is to find and release Boomhildei (played by Kerry Washington), the wife who had been separated a long time ago.
Calvin Candie searches lead them (played by Leonardo DiCaprio), the owner of “Candyland,” a plantation that slaves are treated in an absolutely inhuman. Inquiring about the fate Broomhilde under all kinds of false pretenses, Django and Schultz arouse suspicion of Stephen (played by Samuel L. Jackson), Candie’s trusted slave. Their movements are tracked and risk being caught and exposed their true intentions data. If you want to escape and to free Broomhilde, they must choose between individualism and solidarity, between self-sacrifice and survival.
