In the year 2154, mankind is divided into two classes: the very rich, carefree living space station Elysium and the rest of the people on Earth overcrowded prisoners, depleted natural resources. Desperate, the latter would do anything to escape from poverty and misery. The only one who could bring equality between these two worlds is Max (played by Matt Damon) who is forced to accept a dangerous mission and unusual. Risking his life, he will lead the Elysium, where he will have to face the forces of repression led by Secretary Delacourt (Jodie Foster). If you manage to complete the mission, Max will save not only his own life but also the other millions of people on Earth.
