Paradise tells the story of two women, mother and daughter: Sugar Mama, the first of them presents Teresa, a social worker for 40 years. It will take a flight to Mombasa, looking for love, luck and a lover of color. Melanie, the second daughter of Teresa’s story, a teenager of 13, impertinent and overweight. During their stay in Kenya mother, Melanie itself is a fatty Youth Camp in Austria: here falls in love with the camp director, Doctor, a man 40 years older, who rejects the advances knowing that they could never be together.
Paradise is about young women and older men, and about mature women and young men. It’s about how to be overweight, and social conventions about how sexuality is perceived. It is about the need for love.
