It’s the summer of 1984, Margaret Thatcher is in power and the National Union of Mine Workers is on strike. The Gay Pride march in London, a group of gay activists decided to raise money to help the families of the miners on strike. But there is a problem. Union’m ashamed to receive help.
Activists do not give up. They decide to ignore Union and go directly to miners. Identify a mining village in Wales and started with a van to make the donation on the spot. Thus begins an extraordinary story of how two completely different communities come together for a common cause.
