A child prodigy, Gabby Douglas left his first mark on gymnastics at age eight. He won many local championships, but while its star was rising, Gabby and her family faced economic challenges. Gabby had to take a difficult decision: he left his mother, grandmother and three brothers who lived in Virginia Beach and was moved to Des Moines, Iowa, to train with coach Liang Chow famous.
Encouraged by its early success, dedication and unconditional love of family, Gabby came in 2012 in women’s gymnastics team America, with whom he participated in the London Olympics. Her sacrifice and perseverance were rewarded with gold medals and Gabby and her colleagues came into the world elite gymnastics.
