Billy (Vince Vaughn) and Nick (Owen Wilson) are salesmen whose careers have been jeopardized by the digital revolution. In an attempt to demonstrate that they are not overwhelmed, they beat the odds and get some posts adversaries very popular Google trainees with a lot of brilliant students. Once entered into the heart of this utopia, the battle is only half won. Now, the protagonists have to compete with the nation’s largest technical geniuses, to show that you really need to learn how to reinvent yourself.
The two friends spent their entire life perfecting skills to attract customers and then become redundant. Billy and Nick are part of a generation that believed that if you work hard and follow the rules, you have every right to expect the promised reward of the American dream. Now, already overwhelmed, or so it seems.
Disappointed, but not in despair, they discover that in this new era, the secret of success is looking for. More specifically, a search engine called Google – a place where dreams come true.
To enter it, Billy and Nick are using their skills excellent salesmen to reinvent itself as trainees (or, in the jargon Google, noogleri). Surrounded child prodigy twice younger than them, these two masters of persuasion must find a way to cross the generation gap or risk losing the opportunity to move from noogler to googler (ie full time employee at Google ). Billy, Nick and their young teammates made it clear victory of life lessons that you get, sometimes winning is not always finish first and were equipped with googliozitate, that constant desire to search.
