The Man Who Invented Christmas (2017) tells of the magical journey that led to the creation of the characters Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and other classic characters in A Christmas Carol. The story begins in October 1843 when Charles Dickens suffered from the failure of his last three books. Refused by his publishers, he began writing and publishing a book he hoped would keep his family afloat and revive his career. After six weeks of fever, Dickens created “A Christmas Carol”.
