The struggle between vampire and Lycan millennia continue their rampage in exceptional 3D movie, Underworld Awakening, the fourth and most spectacular of the beloved film Underworld series. In Underworld Awakening-action saga and chaos of battle they are transferred to a higher level by bringing on legendary warrior a Vampire Selena (Kate Beckinsale), in direct confrontation with the strongest opponent of them. At the same time she discovers a shocking secret that will change his principles and values for which he fought so far.
Fifteen years have passed since Selena and her boyfriend Michael, half-man half-Lycan, they defeated the vampire leader, Marcus, in Underworld Evolution. In the years that have elapsed since then, mankind has discovered the existence of the Vampire and Lycan clans, and launched a total war against them, wanting to destroy both species. Selena, captured during the genocide, awakens after more than a decade, uncovering himself trapped in a guarded laboratory of Antigen, a powerful biotech corporation who wants to discover a vaccine against the virus that led to vampire Lycan.
Selena is with pain that Michael died, but her grief is soon overtaken by a shocking discovery: While he was subjected to cryogenic procedure, she gave birth to a daughter, Eve (India Eisley). During his flight seeking shelter for her child, Selena reveals it’s in a world where her people were once proud, had been hunted to near extinction, and the few survivors lived hidden underground.
Being old clans shunned survivors, Selena only receive help a young vampire David (Theo James), who joins him in her bloody vendetta against Antigen, which plans to capture and destroy both it and the her daughter. Its traditional enemies, Lycanii, is again rising, and Selena seems helpless in the face of fierce opponent of history -a uber-Lycan Underworld, which acquired greater powers due to a genetic transformation.
