“Crulic – The Path to Beyond” tells the true story of Claudiu Crulic, a Romanian arrested in Poland for alleged theft, kept in jail despite later evidence showing that at the time of the robbery, he was no longer in the Polish capital, and abandoned by everyone to Death from hunger strike. Romanian Foreign Minister at the time, Adrian Cioroianu has resigned, while in Poland, three doctors are still on trial for the death of Crulic. The film recounts the drama but with a fresh humor that makes you laugh and cry at the same time.

Narrated by Vlad Ivanov (Police, Adjective, 4 months, 3 weeks, 2 days; Principles of Life), Crulic – The Path to Beyond received the Crystal Award (Grand Prix) at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, the largest festival of animation, distinction equivalent of an Oscar for animation, and many awards in other festivals, including: the Special Jury Prize for Human Rights in Istanbul IFF Grand Prix in Gdansk Doc Film Festival, Special Jury Award at the Gdynia Film Festival Award for Best Feature animals (Poznan) Festival Award (Sopot) Award for Best Director at the festival Mlodzi I Film, Cabrito de Plata – best feature film at the Monterrey (Mexico), Special Jury Prize (Siver Dolphin) to Festroia, Best Film at the Milwaukee Film Festival, Special Jury Prize at Se-Ma-For Film Festival, PUMA SILVER Award for best director FICUNAM – Mexico, FICUNAM Audience Award – Mexico.

The film obtained in 2011 Don Quijote Special Mention at Locarno, Amnesty Award at CPH DOX Copenhagen Festival, Special Jury Award International Film Festival in Warsaw. Cottbus (Germany) was awarded Special Mention of the international jury and prize ecumenical Silver Eye Award at Jihlava (Czech Republic), and the Award for Best Documentary Romanian offered in the framework of the 11th International Festival Documentary Film Astra in Sibiu.
