When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter, Alice (Pyper Braun), develops a strange attachment to a teddy bear named Chauncey that she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that go from fun and childish to more and more sinister.
As Alice’s behavior becomes downright worrisome, Jessica steps in only to realize that Chauncey is much more than just the teddy bear she thought.
