The film marks the sixth collaboration between Scorsese and DiCaprio, as well as the tenth collaboration between Scorsese and De Niro.
-On March 10, 2016, Imperative Entertainment won the bidding war to make a film adaptation of David Grann’s non-fiction book Killers of the Flower Moon and paid $5 million; The studio’s Dan Friedkin and Bradley Thomas would produce the film.
