Cristi, a corrupt Romanian policeman involved in a 30 million euro deal with the mafia, arrives on the island of La Gomera, in Spain, to learn “El Silbo”, a whistling language used by the locals. The coded language will help to free Zsolt, a trafficker under arrest in Bucharest, and the only one in the band who knows where the money is hidden.

“A few years ago I watched a documentary about” El Silbo “. This fascinating language, on the verge of extinction, rediscovered and used again on the island of La Gomera, inspired and motivated me to write this story, ”says the director.
