The Monkey Man tells the story of Kid (Dev Patel), an anonymous young man who lives hard in an underground fight club where, night after night, wearing a gorilla mask, he is beaten to death by more popular fighters for money.

After years of pent-up anger, Kid discovers a way to infiltrate the enclave of the city’s sinister elite. As the trauma of his childhood boils over, his mysteriously scarred hands unleash an explosive campaign of revenge to settle scores with those who took everything from him.
