In the late 1990s, in New York, a young woman aspiring to become a writer finds a job at the literary agency that represents J.D. Salinger. Assigned by her eccentric boss to process Salinger’s correspondence, Joana decides to customize the dry response offered by the agency to the writer’s fans. The results are full of humor and emotion, and Joanna, while using the voice of the great author, begins to discover hers.
