Ki-taek’s family of four is united but all are unemployed, with a dark future ahead. The son, Ki-Woo, is recommended by a friend, a student at a prestigious college, for a well-paying job, which gives rise to hopes for a stable income. Armed with these hopes, Ki-Woo goes for an interview at the Park family home, the owner of a global IT firm. Ki-Woo meets Yeon-kyo, the beautiful host. However, after this first meeting, a long series of incidents will take place.
