After the aircraft he’s piloting is struck by lightning, Captain Brodie Torrance rescues his passengers by making a risky landing on a war-torn island. They all soon realize that the controlled crash was the easy part. As most of the passengers are taken hostage by armed rebels, the only person Torrance can rely on is Louis Gaspare, a criminal transported by the FBI.
