Fikirtepe district of Istanbul. Urban transformation makes the poor communities poor, and Syrian refugees are sheltering in abandoned buildings. Kamil and his wife, Remziye, risk losing their home. Lost without a job, Kamil has to secretly accept to work on a construction site. Besides being a job for a Syrian refugee, his employer is the company that destroys the area where he lives. The oppression and anxiety – both in the neighborhood, where he is afraid of being discovered and at work, where he accepted the low salary the refugees receive – is gradually changing. When Kamil disappears out of the blue, his wife must face the consequences of his actions, which do not seem to match the man she knew. But Remziye refuses to give in.
