For 300 years, the poor ghost of Sir Simon de Canterville has haunted his manor in vain, waiting for a brave descendant to free him from a curse by performing a brave deed. An American family moves here, and they find the encounter with the ghost rather amusing, but a young woman in the family can free him – if she dares.
