Inga, an Icelandic farmer who raises dairy cows, revolts against the all-powerful local cooperative. The woman tries to convince other farmers to join her in the fight against corruption in the Cooperative, but she faces the dependence and loyalty of the community to this entity that dominates through a monopoly. Inga puts all her resources at her disposal to get out of the Cooperative’s clutches and to live her life the way she wants.
