After her mother’s death, Evie is approached by a cousin she has never met, who invites her to a lavish wedding in the English countryside. He soon realizes that a Gothic conspiracy is afoot, and that as he uncovers shocking secrets from his family’s history, he will have to fight to escape with his life. I liked the movie, in the first hour you feel like you’re watching a romantic movie, in the last 40 minutes everything changes, but it’s not horror, more of a thriller. Well chosen the actor in the main role, I read that he was not the original choice but replaced someone else.
No continuation is made. Initially, the film had a different ending, but they changed it precisely because that ending gave the impression that it would continue.
