Written by Season of the Witch screenwriter Bragi F. Schut, The Voyage of the Demeter was described by The Hollywood Reporter as reminiscent of the first film in the Alien franchise.
This comparison could be possible because the story takes place on a ship whose crew has to fork out to escape the vampire’s unquenchable thirst.
