After her mother, Bernadette Fox, a particularly neurotic woman, disappears without a trace, Bee, her 15-year-old daughter, begins tenaciously in her pursuit.

Bee keeps track of emails, documents and secret mail to find her. Throughout, the teenager has the opportunity to find out what her mother’s anxious past is.

Bernadette Fox is a mother and wife, an intelligent, creative, but very neurotic woman – she refuses to make contact with people, isolates herself, makes her purchases online, leaves the house only by necessity, cannot sleep, quarrels with her neighbors.
